Montrose & Downtown Los Angeles

Dinner under a New Moon.

Wok-fired classics and modern plates at white-tablecloth tables, with a full bar and seats outside on warm nights.

For decades

Dressed up, never stuffy.

White tablecloths, a cocktail from the bar, kung pao chicken still hot from the kitchen, and nobody in a hurry. Up in the La Cañada Flintridge hills, the neighborhood keeps coming back.

The menu runs from the Chinese classics to the house dishes with people’s names on them.

A few recent five-star reviews, as written on Google.

  1. The food was delicious. I am not sure why so many 1 star reviews. It was fresh and tasty. Got the Pepper Chicken with Fried Rice with Spring Rolls. Maybe new attitude towards the place? The cashier was super nice. I even forgot to take a picture of the food. 🍲 I went on 10/02/2026 at 1pm.

  2. Best Chinese in the city the cutest and friendliest chefs and staff 100% recommend come down and show some love🥹💗

  3. The food here isn’t oily like typical Chinese cuisine, and I loved that they don’t over-use MSG or sugar. It tastes very clean and healthy. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent service.

  4. Finally! A Chinese restaurant that will accommodate gluten free needs! I found out about this restaurant from a gluten-free Los Angeles Facebook group. We ordered chicken chow fun, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken and the black bean sole. Everything was delicious!!! The staff members were also friendly and helpful. This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant!

  5. Excellent service by employee lady 11.16.25 around 745pm I just wanted rice but plenty of food options were available. Good rice!
